Port Gibson Rural Cemetery at a Glance

On the west side of Canandaigua Street in the hamlet of Port Gibson, in the town of Manchester, New York. This cemetery was known as Pleasant View Cemetery until the middle part of the 19th century, when the Port Gibson Rural Cemetery Association was formed. The Port Gibson Cemetery Association is staffed by volunteers from within the community.
Additional volunteers are always welcome. Available position: Back-Up Caretaker. Position descriptions can be found in the Bi-Laws. Interested people can e-mail the Association.

The cemetery is open sunrise to sunset.

Rates: Lots - $ 500; Burials - $500 *; Cremations - $225 *;
Decoration removal after Oct 1st - $10; Wreath removal after Jan 20th - $10;
NOTE: Roads are not plowed during the winter months. *Additional charges apply to winter burials/ cremations and available upon request.
